An aging 15" MacBook Pro: 2.4 GHz Core i5, 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, 512 GB SSD
From a real-geeks-build-their-own-machines quad-boot rig to a wuss-o-rama new age computer that you basically just turn on and use, I've tried a variety of configurations. In the end, portability and getting things done won the day, and the MacBook excels on both counts. POSIX compliant underpinnings means a powerful developer experience paired with the elegance of macOS.
Don't mistake me for a fanboy, though. I like what Microsoft has been doing recently and would definitely consider a return to Windows if this MacBook bites it.
